"Clonal Colonies" in CVM "Oscar's Legacy", ANIMFILM, Czech Republic, Oct 8 and 11

Clonal Colonies I: Fresh Runners will be part of this programme in October, announced by the Center for Visual Music (CVM):

CVM is presenting two film programs IRL (in real life, to real audiences!) at the ANIFILM Festival in October, in Liberec, Czech Republic.

The first is CVM's Optical Poetry: Oskar Fischinger Retrospective featuring Fischinger's classic films, screening Oct 7 and 10, 2020. This is the new digital version of this program, featuring HD versions from many restored 35mm films. CVM restored Wax Experiments, Spirals, Allegretto, Radio Dynamics, Studie nr 5 and Studie nr 7.

The second is CVM's newer program, Oskar's Legacy: Films Influenced by Fischinger, on Oct. 8 and 11. This includes films by McLaren, Bute, Belson, Jules Engel onwards to present day, with films by some members (Robert Seidel, Scott Draves, Baerbel Neubauer, Steve Woloshen, Bret Battey) and others.
