New Showings: Melbourne, Belfast, Bath

A few new events to announce:

Estuaries 3 will be appearing as part of the Seeing Sound Symposium at Bath Spa University 23-35 March, 2018. I will also be presenting a paper on aspects of audiovisual counterpoint in the work.

Simon Limbrick will be performing The Five at the Sonorities Festival in Belfast on 22 April, 2018.

The Melbourne International Animation Festival will be screening Estuaries 2 as part of their 'Installation Animation' programme, 18-12 June 2018.

Panel at Kinetica Art Fair, Sunday 19th October

I will be part of the ‘Creative Collider Conversation’ panel at the Kinetica Art Fair in London on Sunday, 19th October, 2014 — 2 pm. Organised by Threshold Studios and chaired by journalist Emily Gosling, the panel will discuss the challenge of adopting unfamiliar technologies and the implications of the relationship between artist and technologist.

Arte en el Siglo XXI - Seminario Rosario

Thanks to my virtual hosts, intrepid interpreter, and the lovely audience at the National University of Rosario, Santa Fé, Argentina, on September 10 — where I discussed and presented Sinus Aestum via the (still) magic of Skype.

Two Screenings in Glasgow in October


On October 1, 2014, Lacus Temporis will be screened as part of Soundlab Presents Edit-point, at Glasgow City Hall, 7:30 pm.

Clonal Colonies (both movements) will be appearing in the Glasgow Electronic and Audiovisual Media (GLEAM) festival at the University of Glasgow, running October 30 and 31. I will be attending and presenting a talk on the making of Clonal Colonies. More details TBA.

404 Festival / Fresh Minds

The 404 International Festival of Art and Technology in Rosario, Argentina (Aug 28-31) will be screening the first movement of Clonal Colonies.

I will be participating in an invited residency at the Fresh Minds Festival at Texas A&M University on Sep 26, 2013 to present Clonal Colonies and work with students from theatre, music, performance studies, architecture and visualization.

KMH + Fylkingen + Technarte Bilbao

I will be presenting a concert of my video works at Fylkingen, Stockholm, Sweden, at 19:30 on April 4, 2013. The following day will include a master class and seminar at the Royal Conservatory of Music.

I will discuss the technique and aesthetic of Clonal Colonies as part of Technarte Bilbao in Spain. 26 April, 11:00.
